The Final Summit

The Final Summit: A Quest to Find the One Principle That Will Save HumanityWhat a great cast of characters you are sure to enjoy from Abe Lincoln to Joan of Arc and beyond.  Join David Ponder and a list of other historical characters in this sequel to Andy Andrews The Travelers Gift.  In The Final Summit, David Ponder continues his journey for the purpose of life on Earth when the Arc Angel Gabriel commands David to lead a special summit for all Travelers.

While it is not necessary to have read the first book in this series, I found it helpful to have a little bit of background on the character David Ponder and his previous travels.  This is my second book by Andy Andrews and I find his style of writing engaging and imaginative.

A page turner from one chapter to the next, this book is easy to follow and the storyline flows effortlessly. No doubt, the characters alone kept me reading on, not wanting to put it down.  It is interesting to note that while the historical character’s dialogue is fiction, the actual life stories of the characters are true. Andy ties in their real life stories and the content of the book wonderfully.

The Final Summit is a Christian Fiction novel sure to entertain you while incorporating a spiritual message of triumph and encouragement. I am now a fan of Andy Andrews’ novels and I can’t say enough about his artistic style of writing.

The Fight of our Lives

The Fight of Our Lives: Knowing the Enemy, Speaking the Truth, and Choosing to Win the War Against Radical IslamLet me mention this is not the type of book that I normally would choose to read but the title and the premises of The Fight of our Lives intrigued me.  To put it bluntly, the book asks the questions many American’s are afraid to ask, “Is Islam a religion of Peace?” This question is one of many the book explores, carefully bringing together events in recent history up until present day.
What I found most compelling about this book is the detailed references provided that strongly support the author’s position.  As I read through headlines, countless interviews and referenced reports, I found myself more and more concerned with the current administrations’ take on the “Global War on Terror”.
This is one of the best books I have read all year! This book is for anyone who seeks to understand what and who is the real threat we are fighting. It will enlighten your thinking and question your current beliefs on the matter. As you will read on the very first page, The Fight of our Lives is dedicated to the men and women who volunteer to wear our nations’ uniform, and to all who support them, their mission, and their families.  This is a must read for anyone in the military, their family and friends.
